Understand TRF Entry in Passbook

The TRF entry is usually mentioned as Date | TRF/ NEFT/ CR | Sender name or reference | amount | closing balance.  Here, CR and DR mean the direction of transfer. For example, if your salary is credited, it will be labeled as SALARY TRF CR. For EMIs, it will be EMI TRF DR. You always get an SMS or email alert for TRF transactions for tracking or dispute resolution.
