1. SBI ATM PIN Generation through ATM 

You can visit the nearest ATM for SBI PIN generation and follow the steps below: 

  • Insert your debit card at your nearest ATM. 
  • Press the “PIN Generation” option. 
  • Now, type your account number and press “Confirm”. 
  • Here, you will get the option to enter a registered mobile number and then press “Submit”. 
  • Check your mobile number for OTP. You will get an OTP that will be valid for 2 days. 
  • Now, again insert your debit card and press “Banking”.
  • Select your preferred language and type OTP in the provided space. 
  • Choose the “PIN Change” option from “Select Transaction”. 
  • Type your new PIN and retype it for confirmation. 
  • Your PIN is set, and you will get the confirmation message also. 

2. SBI ATM PIN Generation by SMS

You need to send the SBI ATM PIN generation sms to the number given by the bank, as mentioned below: 

  • Use your registered mobile number to send an SMS for ATM PIN generation. 
  • Type the message as: PIN (last 4 digits of debit card) (last 4 digits of your account number). 
  • Send it to 567676. The PIN will be generated easily. 

3. SBI ATM PIN Generation by Calling Customer Care

You can do the process for SBI PIN generation by calling the customer care number using the following steps:

  • Dial 1800112211, 18004253800, or 0802599990. Follow the instructions as provided on the call and generate your debit card PIN. 
  • Enter your debit card number.
  • Press the account number connected to your ATM card.
  • Re-enter the account number and confirm. 
  • The bank will send you an OTP that can be used for the next 2 days. Go to the nearest ATM and generate the PIN using your debit card. 

4. SBI ATM PIN Generation Online through Net Banking 

Here are the steps for SBI ATM PIN generation using the net banking: 

  • Log in to your SBI Online Portal using your credentials “https://retail.onlinesbi.sbi/retail/login.htm”.
  • Press “e-services” and then “Debit Card Services”.
  • Now, choose “ATM Card Debit Card” on the new page. 
  • Press the “ATM PIN Generation” option. 
  • Select any one option from “using OTP” or “Using profile password”.
  • Type your OTP or profile password and press “continue”.
  • Choose the account number and card number. Press “Submit”. 
  • Now, enter the first 2 digits of the new PIN; the other 2 digits will be sent via SMS. 
  • Enter the other 2 digits and press “Submit”. 

5. SBI ATM PIN Generation through Yono App

The steps for SBI PIN generation using the Yono app are mentioned below: 

  • Use your mobile phone and download the Yono app. 
  • Log in using your ID and Password. 
  • You will see the dashboard. Here, press the “Cards” option. 
  • Press “Set/Reset ATM PIN”.
  • Type your new PIN and re-enter it for confirmation. 
  • On your registered mobile number, you will get an OTP. Type it in the provided space and submit. Your PIN will be generated. 

How to Reset SBI ATM PIN? 

If you forgot your ATM pin or just want to reset it for security purposes, you need to follow the steps listed below: 

  • Log in to the SBI Online portal with your ID and Password. 
  • Press “e-services” and then “Debit Card services”.
  • Now choose the “ATM card Debit Card” option. 
  • Press “ATM PIN Generation”. 
  • Select any one option – Using OTP or profile password.
  • Enter the OTP you have received and press continue. 
  • Choose the account number and card number and press Submit. 
  • Type the first 2 digits of the new PIN, and the other 2 will be sent to your number through SMS.
  • Now, type the other 2 numbers and press Submit.
